He died just as the flash stuck the sky.
He awoke to an empty world.
Everywhere he went, the people were gone.
Except for an unlucky few, frozen in time.
Businessmen, on their way to the office,
Craftsmen, on their way to the workshop,
Women about their daily errands,
Politicians, pontificating to wary voters,
People and horses alike,
Even entire families, out enjoying nature,
And then him, alone in the world,
Neither gone, nor frozen,
Not alive,
Not dead. A Zombie Reborn.
It is hard to see the great details. #3 has good contrast between the bike and background. An old white sided building with peeling, weathered paint would be a good contrast. Like an old country store.
I hear ya. The bike is so big, and the details so small. And it looks best in sun, but some of my favorites (pose & background) are in shade, and always will be in the shade.
I might get a chance to go out tomorrow for more. Otherwise, I’ll choose and go with it.
#4, and so many of the other cool places, is in perpetual shade. Some of the others in the sun I didn’t necessarily get the best angles.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get out today for more options. Since I leave early tomorrow for a road trip, I’ll just have to enjoy watching everyone cross the finish line!
The finished thread is up, though I could always change the photo.
