Hello Wratters!! What's up B!! I missed all my brother bikers. I've been busy with family, my band, my music and work. It was hard finding a bike that wasn't far from these suburbs. Luckily I found this one. It's a tank. I just put the stripper on it. It'll sit on it overnight.
I just got a new lawnmower so I have to do that first thing in the morning. Then it's beer, barbeque and bike. So crank up that ZZ Top"Gimme all ya Loving" and GTB!! Peace

Hello you Kwazy Wratters!! Got up this morning and washed off the stripper. I put on a wheel from another bike. It didn't fit. I might clean the old wheels but Nah they'll get primed. That'll be nice and Ratty. I want this one shiny and dirty. Or is dirty and shiny. Whatever. Tonight I'll post how I came up with the name of this bike. You know the Jake is full of stories...among other things. LOL Who said that...GTBOGMMAS.... Peace

Hello Wratters!! As promised the story of the name. I purchased this bike from someone that does clean outs. So after he drops me off at my house I'm pushing it to my house and one of my neighbors walks up and says..Hey that's a nice bike. Thanks I reply. He starts with the usual how much that it is a classic and stuff. So he says what are you gonna do with it restore it? I reply No. So I proceed to tell him what I do and about Ratrod bikes. He cuts me off with... Man, You gone mess that bike up. Leave it like it is. It'll be a shame to mess with it and Blah,Blah, Blah. So me being Jake..In my head I'm like...AHH...SHADDUP!!!
So today I see him again. He says Hey what's up. What you do with that bike? I'm like it's right here. He says..You took the seat off it.You painted it? You should have left it like it was. I said...Wait till you see it when i finish I'll give you 100 dollars for it right now. I'm like it's not for sale. Now or after. Alright he says walking away dejected. See ya later.
I look at my bike...It smiles...Together we say in unison...AHH...SHADDUP!! GTB!! PEACE

Hello Wratters!! A few pics to keep ya updated and me off page 2 with the "Slackers". I took the bike apart, got my primer and color. I did this all in my garage. Oh yeah. The Jake has a garage now. We done moved up like the Jefferson's.( I still have a butter knife though.) I never told y'all that the picture with the equipment is in my bedroom. Yeah that's right...My bedroom studio.
I have my color picked out and will spend my weekend trying to get the rims and crank to shine.
So crank up that X-ecutioners " It's going down" and...GTB!! Peace

You just gotta be careful when you go to hit that "post full image" button. It's easy to hit the wrong one. The 2 pics that are still thumbs are probably like that because you double posted one of the other pics instead. Hope that makes sense. I do that all the time and have to go back and fix it.

Just put your cursor where you want the pic and hit the "post full image" button. You can just backspace the ones you don't want to get rid of them. I think you have to hit another button on the edit screen to edit the pics. More options or something like that.

I’m simple, I use Tapatalk, posting pics is so easy, even I can do it..
