Got out for a quick 3 miler before Christmas dinner
Learned something about riding in this chunky/crunchy icy snow
On my mountain bike, I need to sit on my seat to get enough traction
Been trying to do that in this stuff but can't get enough torque (seat is low) for the 1 speed
Turns out I'm able to stand up and still get enough traction
and can now crank on the solid fork and wide bars
So was able to ride over a football field's length in snow like in the picture below
The skating rink is fully frozen now and people were playing hockey
But I'm not ready for the rink, yet
See lots more people got some snow, hope you enjoy getting out there and riding
