so i have had this bike for awhile and decided it is in deserving of a full on restore
it is a 1967 i believe amf super 10
from what research i can tell the frame is made by Raleigh and it is very strong
i have completely tore down this bike and began rust removing and sanding so i can paint it
i think its gonna be a resto mod type
the color is gonna be purple with white where the white areas are and maybe some gold leafing if i can even find that stuff

more pics and updates soon
Sean

well teardown went well i have it down to the bare frame
next step is paint and rust removal

just the frame left now

love this extra large seat i think im gonna recover it its in really good shape consdering

the bottom pan is relatively clean i think as a custom idea im gonna color match the pan with the bikes color and recover it with white
so many parts to clean and recondition!!!!

fenders are really clean the mounts are rusty so im gonna most likely re chrome them

more pics and updates soon

thanks luke and nagant.
yeah i really like this bike it's got some cool features an the rear dropouts are different then i have seen before.
right now its sitting awaiting paint but i am gonna make sure it is well preserved.
i got it with 7 other bikes for 30 dollars for the bunch and when it came in i decided to keep it for my wife.
before the tear down it rode pretty nice and has a cool headlight on it.
more updates soon.
Sean.

yup you are correct. the headbadge says little rock Arkansas
i like the dropouts but know a little about it so any info on it would be great.
it has cool stem shifters and grip/brake lever all in one on it.
thanks for posting

AMF used the same basic Roadmaster layouts for a long time, with exception of the Arkansas Dropouts, im not sure the reason for them, but if i ever get back in touch with one of the workers i know ill ask. He did tell me that te Arkansas versons had stronger tubing that was thicker than the AMF Illinois versions.

One thing i do know is that you got luck on that paint, here in AR the paint is always flakeing or chalking off, see this one :arrow: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=69066&hilit=+renegade

ahh i see you're point on that definitely that bikes ool looking though i love the rat rod look and you captured it there;
that would be awesome if you could talk to the guy for the amf factory; wish i knew that before i sold my flying wedge;
i actually started removing some of the paint on this one and gonna repaint it soon
i found it on a farm out here in good ol Nebraska with 10 other bikes for 30 bucks the entire lot.
thanks for sharing
Sean
