Well not quite, the Sydney based Endevour replica visited my home an island in the Tasman
Sea for the Transit of Venus. Captain Cook was sent south to view this a few years back and
this is when he discovered our great southern land, if I got the history right?!
Not much into the stars but every 130 odd years the star Venus which orbits the sun can be
seen between earth and the sun. Its just a black dot which you have to look at through special
glasses but boy the star gazer people sure get excited about it, I was more impressed by the
Endevour, large scale modeling in 1 to 1!
