Here's my Heavy Duti. Picked her up at our last Houston Frankenbike for $50 included an extra wheel set. This is what it looked like when I brought home.

Put a temporary saddle on it. Wire wheeled all the rust off the bars, neck, seat post, and seat post clamp.

Last night wire wheeled the cranks and sprocket. Need to pick up a new BB bearing set.

Tonight I used gun bluing paste to put a finish on the raw steel cranks. I left a pin strip down the center to add some detail. I think it turned out looking pretty cool.

At this point I don't know what direction I'm going to take the bike. Just having fun.

I'm really happy with the finish on the cranks just wish the kickstand didn't go so dark. In the sun it has a sort of rainbow look. I'm going to do all the raw metal this way.
Last night while working I was drinking a local beer, Shiner Bock. And got the Idea of where I want to take the build. A Shiner Bock cruiser!!
