antique trike

Me and my g/f were on a texas road trip and on the way home saw this trike sitting outside a antique shop.
I almost wrecked the car trying to stop! talked to the lady in the store for an hour and asked her what the bottom dollar was on the trike!
it was priced at $35.00 she sold it to me for 28 plus tax which came out to 30 plus change.
got it home and asked a friend "bike guy" what year it was and how much it was worth. around 30's or early 40's and guessed it was worth around $400.00.

unfortunatly its ben repainted and the stripes are tape. and i think the seat is missing a cover? leather maybe?
and yes its in great condition. the grandaughter i painted her croozer for can also ride this, waiting for spring to get some video before she's too big to ride it
