Any advice on an old school looking helmet?

What kinds of helmets are you guys wearing when riding? I'm concerned that when I'll soon be riding my '59 Jaguar resto and eventually my prewars that I'm going to look like a noob (more so than usual) with a corny, flashy new style helmet.

I know riders from the prewar days and 50s/60s prob didn't wear helmets, but I have to as I have kids right! Gotta set the example.

I wear one for similar reasons. If I wear on, then the kids have no excuse not to. I wear a novelty motorcycle helmet, as I like them better than bicycle helmets, aesthetically.

Someone on here brought up this site before, some of these helmets are as low as $23 and they look excellent! They come with no safety admissions, but they cover your head and I bet they will take care of the same sort of things that a Walmart bike helmet will.

Yes yes yes! I love Cobra Commander, and how a terrorist has survived on American soil for so long makes him totally cool. I follow him on twitter, always a good laugh.

Get a Bern Watts helmet, very cool. I have a Matt Carbon one and also a paint customised one and love them both.

'Red' helmets are cool too.

That Bell Tourlite is from the mid 80's not the 60's.

I have 2 of the nutcase helnets (the water melon one above) but different models I love them there the only helmet I found that actually fit my fat head and comfortably too! I also have a gyro and a bell full face helmets for downhillin

Mine is at the pin striper right now. It's and old non-D.O.T. approved Harley Davidson type helmet. My grandaughter wears one....so I had better start. Funny, what make a person change. Gary
