Anyone ever see a seat like this?

Has anyone seen a bent Sting Ray seat like this? Is it like that from the factory or was it from a fat kid riding it? It looks to have been factory. I looked on E-bay and couldn't find any with this radical bend. Is it rare? Value?

I thought the same but the seat pan is not kinked or distorted that I can see, It still looks kinda cool.

Check out Raleigh Rons Classic Muscle Bikes.

There may be an answer on there as to what that seat came off of.

More than one brand was "bent" like that.

Actually it says Sting Ray on the back tag. :wink: Tag is riveted on and looks original. That's why I was so thrown off base by it. I would think Ebay would have had one or Schwinn Catalogs would have had a picture or something.

Maybe the Fat Kid DID sit on it back in the day...and with the weight of his buttox on the seat, caved it in.
