Are these baloon tires?

Ive yet to go look at this bike. Can anyone identify it? And does it have baloon tires? I cant tell.

Looks like a Murray made middle weight bike.

i have a set of baloon tires but my rear rim is bad. i was just wondering if the tires would fit on the rims of the other bike.

Decimal sized balloons (i.e.,26x2.125, 26x2.4) fit same rims as 1.75 middle weight. They will NOT fit 1 3/4 Schwinn rims.

Dan's right ^^ Looks like a Murray Monterey or something similar. The tread of the front tire looks like a Carlisle Lightning Dart... which is a classic balloon tire. Don't know about the rear tire, looks slightly smaller, probably a foreign Kenda or something.

thanks guys. one more question. are most of the parts on this bike interchangeable with a schwinn typhoon?

Should be... a typhoon might have Schwinn specific rims, though, in which case the tires would not be interchangeable.

The individual pieces may require you to change other things, like the fork threads having a different thread series, and the bearing races may not fit. The cranks and bearings will often work, but you may have to change everything, including the outer races("cups")for the bearings to seat properly, and to get the correct spacing. The wheels will probably fit no problem, but the seat post probably won't.
