Replacing a bike that got stolen. Wanted to have something simple (a cruiser) and everything was either not appealing or crazy $. I bought this bike of CL not knowing it was posted here (viewtopic.php?f=21&t=24022). I like the looks of the bike here and look forward to customizing mine. I am still a kid at 45 and teach for a living.

Thanks... I am going to make sure the bike gets lubed up as needed and check the condition of the bearings. It has a little surface rust that I am going to work off. I had to add a taller stem to clear my knees. The seat post was rusted in and finally was removed. I want to strip the gray and original yellow and repaint in a dark black cherry color with contrasting fenders and pinstriping and mount a heavy duty rack/basket to the front.
