So after I got the headbadge off I hit it with the flapper. To my surprise look its purple. So obviously I have a rare prototype Elgin schwinn grape krate. But since nothing is safe around me off it goes. The second pic is the fork rockers. I was going to leave them but I never noticed how rough I left them the first time. I do want a hint of polish in this bike

Haha yes from left to right my malimute Loki, daisy my scary looking but totally useless pit bull then Roche another useless red nose pit. As for the bike mine was red too its just how the pic came out

Crash has a few new pics to post but no worry. On another note two days ago my sister's bike got stolen, the cut through her u lock. So I am throwing my 68 stingray together so she has wheels

Awww. I was just gonna give you a suggestion for the paint!

since it was only fitting. :wink:
But I would've hit it with a clear with some white pearl intercoat on top of that just for a little something special.
Heck just keep the paint that's on it and wipe it with some tranny fluid for some bling since it's "Back in rat" now.

no no sensor no flake on this one. it will make a lot more sense once i get the fork back from frank who is helping me make some bushings for it. og units are made of unobtsnium

Getting my fork back tomorrow and a new set of wheels and tires that hopefully will fit without too much drama. A note a lot of this is thanks to frank a member who was banned from here recently. Never quite got all the details from the otherside but sounded like a misunderstanding to me. Frank is a great guy who without his help this bike would still be in pieces. Pics coming real soon

crash u can take her for a spin but im gonna be burried with this one. so the fork got ditched when frank was nice enough to machine some bushings for the roxker. its a early 50s rollfast with the incredibly kool squared off spring. elgine crank and solid elgin sprocket. i aluminum t stem. yea its all old so far other than thr cream thick bricks. the frame will need dimpling but other than that im real happy
