A banana seat would go good on there, but a ride on a banana seat is grueling after a few minutes. I have an idea to remedy that situation. I looked it up on the web and found nothing, so I think it's an original idea.

Double banana seats.

Placed side by side would work with my double sissy bar setup, and provide a nice wide seat that even the largest of people could sit on.
I've ordered up a pair of seats and how to mount them to the bike is the next engineering challenge.

I'm reminded of one of my favorite hot wheels cars.

Spittin' Image . I loved that one too.
I bet the twin nanners will look great with the twin sissy bar pads
Splittin' Image, mine was faster than the other hot wheels cars the other kids had. You had to bend the wires that held the wheels just so the edge of the tire touched the track. My long held secret.

If the frame was wide enough, I would try a dual rim setup to match, but it barely takes the 1.50" tire.

Maybe make your 'nanners conjoined, otherwise that crack down the middle created by the two meeting seats will be WAY less comfortable than a single polo seat.

Unless you can somehow manage to make your 'cracks' line up, that is. :wondering: :wink1:

Usually a wide seat would be a problem with chafing, but on this bike your legs are out front. That's the biggest advantage to a recumbent IMO. A nice wide comfortable seat.
I think the two banana seats side by side will work better than the regular seats that are open in the middle.

I plan to bolt the sissy bars together. When the seats get here I'll experiment.

Mounting them 'nanners reversed would look pretty cool with the noses of the saddles on each side of the rear tire.

I made an attempt at this dilemma a while back (it’s still in my stash to complete someday).
I cut the pan of a wide traditional saddle to fit over the pan of the banana seat. I was actually able to bolt them together (but welding would be better). My difficulty has become upholstery due to the tight corners where the pans meet towards the rear. Here’s a bunch of pics from my archive.

They don't make track like that anymore. The sections are way shorter so the kids can't use em as weapons. They're slower now.

Just like today's kids going for a bike ride, helmet, safety gear, no wheelies, can't ride all day long barefoot without a phone or checking in.

I thought it was ready for a test ride, but ran into a snag.

The brakes went on ok, no fender brake yet. The longest cables only worked for the top brake, the lower one works, but the lever is way down the handlebars. Only one brake is needed though.

You can see that the kickstand is almost touching the floor, it'll have to come off.
One thing I didn't expect was it not being able to roll backwards. It bent the stop for the cranks when I tried to roll it backwards.
The wheel won't roll backwards without the cog turning back also, which pulls the pedals back. I have to make a stronger stop that won't bend.
My local bike shop has large coils of brake line and cable that you can buy by the foot. Not sure if you have that option available.

Took the wife to another movie. The only thing worth watching was Minions. We already have seen Maverick and Jurassic. I picked up a bunch of parts at the bike shop on the way back again. Watching the movie, It looks like they stole my idea, minus the jet engine.

It does look like Gru sent his Minions to spy on your designs!!!!!
