Today got me new parts for The Basman.

Even the package looks nice. Yes it's Brooks again.

Because they are so f<#>ing expensive,they were on my wishlist for a long time .

For me the most beautiful grips available, on the bike.

The Brooks Plump Grips are on the Bas for awhile.
The Grips do look really good, but that grip-shifter was a pain in my eyes.


Until i found this shifter on the web.


Changed the shifter, and for me it looks much better.
Shifting needs some familiarisation, but it shift far more exact.

I got that same shifter but ended up using a stick shift. Glad to hear it works well as I'll probably use it on another bike.

That chain, are 2 very hard to find Wippermann 1G8 chains.
Which i finally did find on: http://www.cambriabike.com/default.asp .
But they don't have them anymore.
Right @ this moment there are 2 @ E-bay.
1 In Texas U.S.

I think those are original Basman pedals?
Classic cycle used to have them, but don't seem to at the moment.

This is correct.
Project 346 Spade Pedals.
I don't know if they still are produced.
