Some of the bikes in this thread are just works of art! All of you are incredibly creative.

Hello,

I had a single speed Schwinn (yellow triangle frame) for 17 years. I decided last spring I really wanted another Schwinn. Cantilever this time.

I was at a local swap meet and took this home:

I had wanted some thing kinda big (nice to be built for ballon tires). I also wanted it to handle
good. Comfortable too. I wound up with this:

Goal was riding it to the Mpls Messaround. Awesome cars and loud music.
I went rather minimumal so it isn't a huge change. I'm lazy that way.
Some of these other bikes her have a lot of talent put into them.
But I take it for Sat morning runs for exercise.
It's pretty heavy but for a 7 mile workout, it's fun.

the best i can do is some before and towards the end of during and one near the beginning and after. my ability to post pics is really pretty recent so i may have to find some stock "befores" off the internet to show a few more

New coat of paint, coaster brake bendix laced into the original rear rim, straight drag bars with 2 inches chopped off. call it done. Now to start all over.
