Horsefarmer I may be wrong but I believe the anchor clamp is the clamp that holds the cable housing to the chain stay, it is on the bike in your picture

@musclebikemadman Thanks for the info. The shifter does snap very solidly into gear.
@idiotboy Thanks man I see what you mean. For some reason I thought it was bigger.
I extended the seat post today and after I get a taller stem I expect this to be an awesome rider.

I stated incorrectly the hub is set in low and the lever puts it is high
