Bendix RB-2 question(s)

So what exactly do I have here? When I picked this bike up I was working on the assumption that it was a 2 or 3 speed. I've checked out the Hub details in the How-To section and it looks like this is a single-speed -- is this correct?

I'm still green to the multi-speed in-hub stuff, and appreciate any help/guidance that comes my way.

that is a single speed bendix hub. the multi-speed hubs by bendix usually have three colored bands.

What you have there is a rock solid easily re-buildable Bendix coaster brake hub.Its what I like to refer to as a "here after" hub. Because if properly cared for, it will be "here after" your long gone! :mrgreen:
