Looking good so far! I love your idea for recovering the banana seat!
Not sure of the brand, but you can’t go wrong with a two piece pan! Makes reupholstering SO much easier!Got my new to me seat in the mail the other day. I have it stripped down. It’s going to need some work before I can start to recover it. Does anyone happen to know what the seat is? It’s an 18”. Says it’s made in Korea.View attachment 232766View attachment 232767

I spent the whole day there with my Dad about 7 years ago. When Bill died I figured the kids would kill the program. This year they bought the Darryl Starbird museum and the Unser museum. I’d say it’ll be around for a long time.I love the Speedway museum. I always try to stop in for a few hours when I’m on a cross country trip.
Sly would have been very happy with your choice! My swimtrunk purchase was a fail to use as the material to cover the seat. I bought the trunks large thinking it would give me more material. The problem is that the pattern is too large and doesn’t look right on the seat. Back to the drawing board.View attachment 236095
Yeap, I manage a body shop and we happened to be painting a bumper for a Chevy truck, so this went into the booth at the same time.Dude, that looks like a full-on paint booth right there!
