Design a Bike
Beachbikes.net is asking you to design one of our 2008 cruiser models. We need inspiration for our 2008 line, which is why we want your help. If your submission is chosen as the winner we will put it into production as a part of our 2008 line, and as your prize we will send you a brand new version of the cruiser that you designed. Imagine riding around on a cruiser that was designed and styled to your specifications. All you have to do is email a drawing of your original cruiser design to [email protected]. All drawings should be sent as an attachment in the email. Submissions can either be in jpeg, Photoshop, or Illustrator format. All submissions must be received before November 15, 2007. The winner will be choosen and notified by January 15, 2008.
CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The contest is open to the general public. Identification must be produced on request. Beachbikes.net, its contest sponsor, advertising and promotional agencies and their respective affiliates and associates and such employees' immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from this contest.
2. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.
3. Decisions of the contest judges are final - no substitutions will be available.
4. By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which Shaw may deem appropriate.
5. In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that Beachbikes.net may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).
6. By submitting an entry entrants are waiving their ownership of their design and after submission agree that Beachbikes.net takes over full ownership. Beachbikes.net has the right to use any designs and ideas submitted to the contest even if they are not chosen as the winner. If Beachbikes.net manufacturers a bicycle based on an entrants design submitted to the contest, whether it be the winners’ or another entrant, the entrant agrees he/she will not be entitled to any royalty payments.
9. Beachbikes.net retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
10. This contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
11. Beachbikes.net reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice. Beachbikes.net also reserves the right to not chose a winner if the judges deem none of the submissions worthy of being sent in to production.
12. Approximate value of prize varies.
13. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer and may not be separated. All tickets issued in conjunction with the Grand Prize are not eligible for frequent flyer miles, and no code-share flights may be used.
14. Contest open to US residents only.
15. Contestants may submit as many designs as they choose.
