Bike repair and polish

Got my first paying bike repair the woman wanted the tubes replaced on her old hawthorne bike and after her past dealings with a guy that has a bike in the next town over she contacted me about doing the repair and while I was talking to the woman she asked if I could clean it up and do something with the rusty chrome while I had it. so knowing I could never match the original pinkish purple color of the bike the chrome is getting polished along with the repair

people need bike repair guys! Too bad most people are consumer conditioned to just throw away the diposable walmart bike each year.

Elvis51 thats pretty cool, never know where you will run into someone from this neck of the woods. hoping the repairs keep coming in its nice to work on something that aint going to hang around till it sales. the only thing that got me is the woman also showed me a skip tooth girls bike that she said she had took it to the other guy and he told her it would be to expensive to make rideable so she sit it against her fence as yard art , so I had to ask her if she would sell it and she said she didnt want to sell it. I was thinking to myself why show it to me then

Just took the bike back to its owner and she loved it, she said it looked like a completely different bike.
