The multi colored girls bike with the mostly blue rear fender and red front half is a Murray built. Maybe badged as jC Higgins.

Looking at the rear dropouts they are the same as my mens frame. Other key features are identical to mine.. Best guess for my frame was dated as a 46 or 47.

Pink Columbia looks to be late 50's to mid 60's styling. Same with the blue huffy.

The green/green Schwinn is a nice find. I've always liked that two tone green combo. Looks to be in decent shape for a rider with some elbow grease and grease.

The green Schwinn is a nice find. Mostly complete and original. It's somewhere in the '38-'40 time period. I'll see if there's a pic of it in my prewar catalogs. That's the oldest Schwinn I've ever seen with a painted bird wing chainguard. They were mostly chrome until '41. Gary

still have one more trip.....

So, when are you going to start selling some of these?
Sweet score!

A real score galore, I have the ladies bike of that black Sears but not in such good condition and that is a lot of Spaceliner style bikes that are complete unlike the ones I seen or got.

Shazaam! I missed the second third and fourth trip posts. Just now saw them. Amazing herd and round up. Can't wait to see the last trip earnings.

Great job. What city did these emerge from? What's the story of the collector that sold them? Why he is selling?

Thanks.

They were purchased from a man Louisiana, just like me he never had a shop or even repaired bicycles, he just liked bicycles. He had them in a storage in Louisiana and Texas, he also had some stored in two garages at his house. He still has 5 or 6 bikes that he kept to ride. I don't know when to say enough, I work in different States and have to be back to work on the 2nd, I cant even clean the bikes, just picking up and putting away until I get to come home in May.
