Bikes n dom appliances ?????

I met up with a friend today who couldn't see the point in wasting energy pedaling around. She figured that if you could combine your effort on a bike with some domestic chore then that would make sense. Like if I could build her a bike that was also a sewing machine then she might consider coming out for a ride.

Is this a weird idea or can it be done? Yes course it can, anyone want to have a go - any domestic appliance would do but it has to be able to go out for a ride also. I've seen static washing machines run by a bicycle, that doesn't count.

Off to the dump to see what's around.
