In our town, we have an abandoned canal system alongside the river. Our waterfront bike path runs between the two, with plenty of places "off the beaten path" to explore

River still high? We were on the CVNT a few weeks ago & the Cedar was over the trail.
Was going to start a new thread, but this seemed apropos…Here is a Huffy Santa Fe that I remixed a little while back. As expected on inclines I get a bit of exercise but on flat land she rolls like a speeding freight train

Went Ragbrai training with the wife today so I had to take the geared bike. Grant Wood trail from Springville IA to CR & back...about 20 miles roundtrip:

Did about 18 miles on the Haro today, replaced/added a bunch of parts Friday, so this was the second shakedown ride for it...new saddle is inbound. Bridge/Dam is on the B-branch trail in Dubuque.
