used the beam at the far right to cross over.
A recently rebuilt bridge a few miles down the trail. Not much rain here this year so the creeks are low on water and growing over in weeds.

yes, every mile. Took 3 bikes. A 1981 Raleigh Competition (post 565 above) for the gravel day, the Litespeed for 5 days and the gold 1972 Schwinn Varsity (post 566 above) for the short day from Ames to Des Moines.
