I've never participated in a build off. I felt this one would be a good one to try. I picked this bike up locally after seeing it on here in the swap meet section.

Day 1

I bought it but had no idea what I wanted to do with it. First I thought restoration. Then I finally decided to make a plus sized stingray. Not too crazy in case I wanted to eventually restore it

Sent it out for some black powder coat

I couldn't decide on a seat. Should I go sparkly or plain black. Then I saw this seat and I liked it.

I'm going to repainted the tank and chain guard. I'm trying to figure out a decal for the chain guard

Oh yeah. Love that shallow tank on there. So, that's original to that model Schwinn? Fits the lines well.
 
Nice looking build so far! The cahinring/crank looks columbia to me, similar to whats on my '56. Neverming the bike though, the millenium falcon and the at-at are sweet!
