I like this rendition. You will have more extension to deal with on the seat stay, but otherwise it's the same amount of work you would normally do on a tank fit. Flows nicely with the frame tubes.

It dose look good but the rear triangle spreads apart wider the further you push the tank back the wider it gets . So the back of tank will basically get cut apart , To make it fit . I will have to show you a top view but you probably get the idea.

You would have to shorten the overall length of the tank.

Yes Jim your correct it would have to be shortened. But then I would need a can of the goop . The problem with doing it this way it puts the head tube cut out very close to the light pods .

If the tank ends at the point where the seat stays are the same width as the tank, no filler is necessary. The end has to be cut anyway.
Here's one that I did like that on my Schwinn. Yours would probably be farther back behind the seat tube though.

I went back and looked at the Raceliner and it is done that way.

And also the front extends similarly.

I was thinking about the seat post , being there's no way to get to the tension bolt . Now I know why you made that special seat bracket . Always thought that was a cool ida .

Great looking frame, good choice, this is going to be a nice ride.

Wheels #1 - a rubbermaid tub will hold a rim. Strip the guts out of the hub, fill it with oxalic acid, and soak, need to turn a few times. Still have questionable spokes though.

Wheels #2 - use older spokes to fit the build, or new galvanized spokes, spot treat with muratic acid to burn the galvanized off and they'll patina up quickly enough.

Old rims, old spokes with some bright shiny or colored nipple might be cool.

Took the old JC Higgins fin hub apart . I always take the hub apart on a new bike build. Really is a fun part of the build . Kinda cool to see how they work. More then likely they may have never been apart so the grease is stick and more like glue . In this hub there was not really any grease left . I recommended doing the front & rear hubs on your builds . Take plenty of pictures & you should be fine . Give the parts a gas bath then re-grease everything with high temp grease.

Holly TRM turmoil that was a bit of a challenge. Fist time doing something like this is always a little harder . But the biggest problem was this frame was not exactly a perfect fit for the tank . But with some cutting & grinding & some more cutting & grinding & grinding & grinding. It was a success with no big mistakes. The head tube was a piece of cake . The bottom tube I bit more of a challenge with a bit of grinding to fit. The biggest challenge was getting to fit at the. Seat tube . I had to cut about 1 1/2 " of the back of the tank . I didn't want to over cut it so I cut & ground a number of times but finally got it right.

Thankful I had this router & pit a 1/2" sanding head on it worked great .

Your new bike has lots of cool, swoopy, lines to it G. I'm now thinking a new paint all around will really make this look like a one-of-a-kind bike model. And that fork really tops the cake!

It must be a 24" frame that just happens to fit 26" wheels?
The tank certainly looks beefier on there than it has on other bikes, I like it!

Took the hub parts out of the gas bath they cleaned up nice . I Put it back together for the photo shoot but I will take it back apart and grease everything before it goes back in the hub .

Well after working on the bike a couple days out in my garage and listening to some good old rock and roll . The bike needed a slight name change. It just never felt quite right to me anyway. So from Dimond super deluxe. I've changed to . Black Dimond Deluxe [emoji95]. Because this is a bike that a rockstar would love to have !!!!!

That was a good one I had to watch it a few times . I was thinking the same thing about Ace but Peter Chris beat up the drums pretty good . Drumming & singing can't be easy man he's good !

My 2 other favs from that era are Parasite and Cold Gin.
Ace was under appreciated for a long time. Actually the reason they were able to pull off those outfits was that they are pretty good musicians too.
Bike is gonna need some metal studs applied.
