It's not a fresh find yet, and they well may be long gone. But I emailed the guy and hopefully will hear back! The ad: "I am selling some old bikes that my stepson left in a storage shed. He brought them with him when he came from out west to stay with us,. He is now 40 so most of these bikes would be 25-30 years old. I would guess maybe a half dozen bikes in the shed. These would be great for someone with a kid just learning to ride bikes. I wrote down some of the names on the bikes.........one is a mongose supergose. Another is a cw with a funny looking s shaped tube. two bikes say hutch. One says prostar. the other says trickstar. I don't know the difference in them other then one is pink and the other is chrome. Another one says skyway. Its white. I could't find the name on the last bike. Its purple with white wheels and it also has a funny looking frame. Also in the shed is a bunch of boxs of bikes parts and wheels. Some of the stuff looks like it has never been opened. I know his father owned a bike shop and i'm sure thats where this stuff came from. I am located in Mt Pleasant close to Concord. I am asking $50 for each bike. I am willing to sell bikes cheaper if you want to buy them all. I am clearing off my land and need the shed moved."

No, the ad actually posted last week! I had zero cash available, but got my state refund yesterday! So I figured I'd give it a shot. I haven't heard anything back yet. We'll see. -Adam

It really sounds like a fake ad....we get them all the time down here too.

Sorta like the story of the old lady selling a 65 Vette that's been in her garage, up on blocks because her son died in Vietnam and it's been sitting there ever since.

I have a several Bridges for sale if any one is interested in. Located in N.Y. City . All so all the Swamp land one could want..Price is negotiable ...

No response, and someone else posted regarding the ad saying he has cash and wants to buy everything. Only the time emailing was lost, oh well. I'd answer 100 suspect ads for one real one! -Adam
