Almost have to laugh sometimes, on some of the other bike forums like mtbr some of the singlespeed and fixie mtb weight queens fixate over shaving grams from any bike part including going super thin wall forks and frames as if that's all there were to it. Reminds me of a quote I read once from the frame builder Richard Cunningham regarding bike building went something like "Cheap, light, durable ... pick 2."
