I loved how the guard turned out but made made me realize it needs black leather for the grips. Starting to build a new wheel with the three speed hub now that @SwissGuy got the indicator. Then stick shift

Wood on bikes, one of my favorite things! I've got something in mind very similar to your pedals. Of course, now that you've already done it, I'll only be 'imitating' not 'innovating'. 
Before I joined this site I made a wood replica of this rack I wish I took more pics. I put it on a bike and it sold within the hour. Use as a guide on the router.

Copper end caps look killer with the leather and nice contrast with the silver.
It is a prototype they never produced it as far as I know.

I was originally going to finish the bike today but little guy decided he wanted to build his first rat. I had a Schwinn typhoon he fell in love with but also wanted a springer. So he changed it.
Then decided it was dirty. Polished the fenders. The front one rattles it would drive us nuts but he loves it.
