No but he's heading down the dark hole. Already looking for a tank and playing around with lights. He appreciates old stuff has a calculator collection that would knock your socks off some all the way back to the 1920s (the mechanics in them is amazing). Changed the fork on his own with me double checking tightness. Don't want him to get hurt.I was surprised to see him pull out the maquires and use it. Polished the fenders. He already knew how watched me do it many times.
It's the schwinns the theives are after we don't have many Chicago Schwinns in these parts there's three in our town and all three are in my yard.
I love these “retro kids.” They like old things like old bikes/cars, collect records, wear vintage clothes… it all usually accompanies good personalities… old souls.

I think the black rims against the blackwall tires looks awesome!
I find they make the rims look like there bigger than they are. I looked all over town for whitewalls. Only thing I could find were those garbage one from the rubber factory in China. I've gone down that road junk

I dig those Tommy TuTones even better on the bike. Cool and unusual. The extra black ties in with the black chainguard accents.

Little Old Lady 911 Caller - "People keep calling me and asking for someone named Jenny. What can I do to stop this?"

After looking at the ANI, muting my headset mic and chuckling for a brief moment - "Maam, call Southern Bell and have your phone number changed."

We use it way up here all the time

I grew up with it, then it became BellSouth, and now it's AT&T all over again.

I was originally going to finish the bike today but little guy decided he wanted to build his first rat. I had a Schwinn typhoon he fell in love with but also wanted a springer. So he changed it. Then decided it was dirty. Polished the fenders. The front one rattles it would drive us nuts but he loves it.
It's my week with my little guy all your love has made him so very happy thank you.

Had to move the head light. The fender block the light. Then my dynamo quite working it was old.so added the frame pump to hide the batteries and put a switch on there to so both lights come on at the same time.

and adds a little more black.

So I'll end it with a photo shoot

These photos are significant because the original owner bought the bike in these lost villages. The town was flooded out in the 60s so it would have passed many of these buildings in its lifetime. It was so cool when they let me take pictures inside the buildings. It's a huge part of the history of where @MattiThundrrr and I are from.

This little gem was there to. Matti tried to ride it last year they said no but I got to there's a great change it was sold in the same place as Canadian metal

But it's not a CCM the head badge is in half and painted over but looks like Columbia (not the same as American)

I can barely get in the door at that place, and it's open to the public. Ingola gets in, brings a bike inside, and gets a ride on that old beauty to boot?
Nice work, man! Canadian Metal opening doors! Bike looks fantastic there, some good pics to choose from

Killer idea to use the frame pump to hide the batteries. It looks so natural with the bike too.
Great build, great pics, great history with the lost villages place.
Well done!!!
