recently i shipped a chainring via usps. i trimmed down a flat chipboard box to keep postage coast minimal, then inserted the chainring and used carton sealing tape to close the 2 open edges. the chain ring came out of the box during shipping, i assume the teeth poked through the tape and it fell out. now im out the cost of the chain ring and the shipping. if you ship chainrings, package them better than i did ! ill leave the buyers name anonymous but ill say that i appreciate his patience and understanding.

2 pieces of chip board/plywood and a screw/bolt work real well. just cut the wood alittle larger than the sprocket and put the screw right through the center of everything. :) wont get bent or lost (1/4 ply don't weigh much)

I bought a sprocket from uneasyrider, and he shipped it sandwiched and ziptied to cardboard, packed in a padded envelope. Received it in perfect condition.

That was me that recieved the empty sleeve, I emailed Fast Eddie and he immediately credited my paypal account, I was looking forward to my first Star Chainring, so I was quite disappointed. BUT I would like to take this time to give Fast Eddie a plug for being an outstanding seller who stands behind his sales, It s---- that it happened, But Eddie stood behind it and did not try to avoid the costly mistake. Thanks again Eddie and I will buy from you again, Rick

i appreciate it rick, ill bet someone at a post office somewhere has a much more cool chainring than he used to ! i know id sure like finding something like at work!
