LOL! I thought about telling them that we are going to ride the 7 miles to Twisted Spoke in a thunderstorm. :roll:

We made it to Twisted Spoke a little after 1:00 .....But the Motorhead was to loud :roll: For my 8year old plus the place was packed!

I hope I did not miss anyone waiting for us!!

Went to the Italian restaurant across the street.

the rain STOPPED! The boys and I got a great ride in. Didn't want to get stuck in another Thunderstorm. So we stayed close to the Neighborhood

The West Loop.

My 8yr old loves Trains

The storms stayed to the North :mrgreen:

Rode by Bloomer Chocolate in the Fulton River district

Makes the whole West loop smell like Chocolate

After the ride...having coffee and hot chocolate in the Starbucks across the street from Twisted Spoke

Loaded and heading home

Home...the sun even came out!

Bummer the weather did not work out !

Missed all of you today. But completely understand why people past on today's Ride.

I sure had a Blast! with my kids

I think they had as much FUN! as me. Some of my best memories are of building and riding bikes with my uncle when I was 10yrs old
