CL was crazy busy yesterday (Sunday).

Really nice weather in DFWLand yesterday. Listed 5 bikes in 3 ads for sale. Text msgs came in fast and furious all afternoon. Was hard to keep up with it all. Sold 3 bikes, and 2 junker BMXs are spoken for next Sat. Best day I've ever had flipping bikes.

Exactly what I thought at the end of the day. I usually shoot for 1/2 of original price. Ended up with 3X what I paid for 'em, and they are gone......

For some reason the bike flipping thing has lost it's flare with me lately. I start thinking about what it takes to go get one, clean it up, list it over and over again and then deal with the buyers. Then I add up just how much I would make off of them and most of the time I talk myself out of it.

You know it's bad when you get to the point where you think....if I can't make at least $300 off the deal and only have to drive 15 minutes away to get it I'm gonna pass.

This is what happens when you find some major scores over the years....they tend to ruin all of the rest.
