So, I am cleaning up my CWC Western Flyer tanker and the tank graphics look much better. Still a few dents, dings, etc...It has the really nice "survivor" look that I like. The only problem is that the graphics are really fragile and the paint is a bit dull from age. I am thinking about maybe shooting a layer of clear to protect the graphics and give it a bit of shine. Just wondering if anyone has put clear on decent original paint? Did you use satin, gloss, etc? I don't want anything over the top glossy. I’d like to have it barely noticeable. How were the results? Pics?
