And where is the noise coming from??Did you check your rear hub?If you tightend your whole bottom bracket and made sure there is no contact with your crank arms, changed the pedals, changed bearings and cages then it can only be coming from your rear hub.But if its not that I think your out of luck!No way this should be happening to all four bikes.Did you put your bottom bracket bearings in correct?Ball bearings to the inside and cage tops out?If there was ever a problem like that it could crack one or both of your cups.It will also chip the inside of your cups and your bearings will hit these pits and cracks and it will make noise as your arms turn.

The only other thing I can think of is that you're letting up slightly on the pedals and the drive is letting go and re-engaging. I get this occasionally when I'm putzing around at low speed, although not constantly, and usually on a external gear set-up. :? Good luck.

You need to let someone else ride the bikes, that would eliminate you as the possible culprit if it still made the noise.

I suck :x
so now the rear hub is not engaging, half a spin maybe it well engage. some times it works. I started helping out around my uncle bike shop when I was 8. I consider myself a fair fabricator maybe a B. I rebuilt the hub no better. I rebuilt the cranks no better. :? I even got a bike done for the rrbo4, this one. I cut the cantilever off another frame and added it to this one, dublin. painted the frame metalic blue and the wheels yellow. they are matching wheels and i would like to make the rear hub. work again. this is my dog walking bike and it is riden twice a day every day. no pictures, my computer died and there is no cd drive on this one to install the camera software.
help

You can download the software from the manf.website. Or just hook up the camera to the computer via the usb drive. You should be able "Explore" and find the pictures on a removalbe drive(camera)

for what its worth, check the chain width vs gear tooth width. ive been trying to search the source of my coaster clunking and tonight i noticed that the chain that came on my bike is way wider than the chain wheel and sprocket teeth and there is a LOT of side to side play. im thinking under hard load the chain is 'popping' side to side when the crank load is changed...

How much 'slack' do you have in the chains on your bikes? I know that when I have the chain tension way too tight on my fixie then I get a 'cracking/clunking' sound in the chain links when I pedal. Even newer chainrings are not perfectly round most of the time and older one piece cranks have a certain amount of 'wobble' so the chain length can vary 1/8' - 1/4' as you pedal. Try riding with a looser chain and see if the clunk goes away...

My 2c worth :)

A combination of the last 2 postings is pretty common if you run your chain really tight. It can make a pretty loud noise, I wouldn't have called it a clunk, but it could be your problem. :|
