Columbia Superb Barn Find

Hi,
I have been looking around the site for a couple of weeks and finally decided to join, This bike which I believe is a Columbia Superb (because thats what it says on it) was a barn find, I have not tried to clean it or do anything to it.
Anyone have an idea on the year it was mfg or any other info about it? Or an idea of what its worth?

Numbers on the bottom look to be E102327.

1940 per the Serial Number, Very nice bike.

I'd say it's worth more parted out than whole. I have that exact rear rack on my wife's bike, now I know where it came from.
