Well, the way the eye, brain, color spectrum and reflective light all work.............
If we see a 'green' object, what we are really seeing is the color of the spectrum, green, being reflected off the object. So, I contend, that in reality the object is absorbing all the other spectrum colors, and thus 'is' every color but the rejected and reflected green. Our collective agreement is that the color 'seen and interpreted ' as green, is green so we call it green.
