Say, I was wondering, can I remove the paint with sandpaper or something like that? I live in a apartment with no form of yard or anything so sandblasting or acid baths are not that easy to do here.

So I bought sandpaper and tried it, it is working pretty well. Already got the top two bars cleaned off. I think I am going to leave the bike bare metal.
And if it gives any clue on what the bike is I am pretty sure it used to be red. lol

Ask him if he can restore it for $425.00. No seat makes it worth less. It's definitely vintage and possibly prewar. The screw adjustable dropouts are OG. American Pickers is staged - like watching WWF to me.
