That's one way to loose weight! Fixed gear at 30MPH.
The skin slide to skin graft weight loss program!
Those thrusters are scary cheap made, hope nobody hits anything on one, that one.

That Yellow Schwinn is a reproduction and it's been on CL at that same price over a year. Looks like it has the same seat as the Murray Valiant Classic I had with no company name on it.

Edit: I didn't notice the last link. The second bike is a late 90's Murray made Mercury bike.
I don't think the original Schwinns came with reflector pedals, allen head stems and a chainguard stating the year...

Re: Craigslist nightmares and dreams... funny stories

Doesn't know what brand it is but it clearly has a Huffy head decal from the late 80's or maybe early 90's.

That motorbike is clearly not street legal but pretty cool, you know, if the gear isn't fixed.

Just looking at the heading I'd say he forgot a decimal point and was thinking $25.00 but $12,500 is pure insanity.

I sort of agree but not everyone that has multiple bikes is a dealer.

I haven't had mine on for a few months but I was thinking of putting them on again this next weekend I hope this guy doesn't try to flag mine when I do because he see's multiple bikes on my 1 post.

Re: Craigslist nightmares and dreams... funny stories

So, flag him for being obnoxious. Does he think he's the Craigslist Police?

Yeah man. I have never been flagged or flagged anyone before so I'm not going to start for Karma's sake.

Who cares if I am a dealer or not? It's bike X for X amount of $$$. As a matter of a fact I'd rather buy from a bike flipper, they actually take the time to grease the bearings, adjust brakes, true the wheels, and make sure it is roadworthy because they actually know something about bikes and care about their reputation! I build, refurbish, and resell bikes out of my back yard and give the best deals around most of the time. Am I a dealer? No. Do I sell bikes when everyone else's overpriced junk sits on Craigslist for months at a time? Oh yeah! Do I DOMINATE my local Craigslist? Sometimes but hey that's "Friendly Competition"!

I was bored...

I can understand if someone is re-listing the same bikes over and over without lowering the price because that does get annoying. And bike shops posting their entire inventory, but most times it's an honest backyard guy like me that gets attacked because no one else can sell a bike because they are asking too much. I normally post a bike and if it doesn't sell by the end of the week I lower my price or take it down and keep it. There is only 1 bike in my shed I have owned for more than a year and I have yet to post it. I'm not trying to get rich just enjoying my hobby.
