The look of this bike grabs you. Hard to explain, but a lot of builds to me are like, that's cool but...then there are the ones where you try to zoom in on all the pics and your saving the images for your own future plans

Well, change of plans. Paul's Components were behind on production/anodizing of their square-taper cranks, and wait times just kept increasing every time we called, wondering where they were, so...
Going to try White industries ENO cranks instead. Shipping tomorrow.

When I do paint, I plan to do some off-white panels on some of the flatter areas (tank plate, rear fender, maybe the little raised areas on the fork legs), and then do maritime tattoo-style art all over them in black. Considering using this as an entry in the "Anything Goes" build-off, but I'm enjoying taking my time getting this thing ready for paint, and figuring out fender mounting, cable routing, etc.
