Different Monark cheese graters???

I picked up a couple of cheese graters (sans chrome pieces) and when they arrived, I noticed that the blue one has a hole in the top and the red one doesn't. It looks like it was made for the hole based on the space in the middle rib .
I've attached photos. Anybody got any ideas?? Thanks

I had a girl's Monark Super Cruiser with a lighted rear carrier. The hole you pictured may be a mounting hole for the light unit but I can't tell from the pics I have. But to answer your question, yes there is more than one type. I wouldn't even call this a cheese grater because it's solid w/ a red lense that lights up. I bought the bike for $70 from a Craig's List post - I took one look at the rear carrier in the pics and called the guy - most unique and the only one I've seen so far. It still had the original light unit in it when I parted it out. Have Fun! Robert
