To me, it's a style based on the old racers

I doubt there's a set of rules, just a bike inspired by that early era of motorcycle racing. Here's one I made that I consider a modern version of a board tracker.

But it really isn't all that racy, I guess I made it hot rod tracker or something

We should all just take bikes and redesign them to how you think they should have produced them from the factory. That's the bases of my whole collection!

Yeah, I think for me, the old timey drop bars are the biggest thing to make it a tracker. Tanks etc, especially with the engines add to the flavor, and a drop hoop frame like the Worksman above is the ultimate. Cool bikes, thanks for Sharon

Trust me as soon as bikes went production people started altering them then next the big question? Who's faster, and how can I make it slick and cool! This style of bike evolved into motercycles.

Everybody on the motorized bike forums wanted to make one, but fabbing the fuel tank and drop loop portion of the frame isnt easy.

My 2 cents...
A lot of "board" bikes are actually "cafe" style, mine especially or even "velo" bikes...
Boardtrackers are unpedal low....straight tube with a "clip on" bars....
Cafe bikes use a cruiser frame....(wide open parts list to go faster)
Velo bikes mimic the track bikes used in velodrome racing, think "fixie." Simple as single speeding a road bike but must have drop bars...
Really I just build what I want, only a couple met the Sawzall...
Beach clunker anyone?
