What are your dream cars? Just to keep the lists short lets say if you had a budget of $300,000 what car or cars would you own?

Did the math and came up under budget so I revised my list.
Mine would be:
1. 1957 imperial Southampton with 392 hemi restored or nice original with paint $50K

2. 1959 Cadillac Eldorado hearse $60K

Slammed 6.7l Cummins Diesel powered, Allison auto rat truck with matching 5th wheel camper trailer...
Like this but with cycle guards over the tires and air-conditioning for travelling around Australia:

Pretty sure those would take up the $300,000... ;)

Luke.

My dream cars change every few years. Right now and for the last year or so, my next dream project is a 55 Buick Special. Kinda like this one.

Nice choice! I like that.

I added up the prices on my list and found it fell short of the budget so I revised my list a bit.

1. I would commission a pro-tour Cosworth Vega, 1975. Stock looking except for tasteful front and rear spoilers. Killer modern drivetrain, killer brakes and handling.

2. 2015 VW Golf R Variant Wagon for a winter beater.

3. and if I had enough left over, a Hellcat.

Ask me next week and the list would probably change.

That will be my next car if I ever get around to building another hot rod. Of course never as beautiful as that one, I can get close enough on a budget. Out of all the 50's cars, that 55 buick is just perfect. Of course With $300k, I would just get Troy Trepanier to build me one.

How about this? Just a random thing I found on the net. I don't care for the color but man the truck is cool!

The pipes mess it up but I appreciate the guys vision. You should check out Trepanier's builds. That guy is amazing.

Here's my top 10 cars, as of this moment. I'll lust for another car at some point, LOL! I tend to like the rare, unusual, and obscure. Doesn't have to be valuable but some are.

1) 1948 Tucker '48 (aka: "Tucker Torpedo")
2) Any Dusenburg
3) 1958 Chevrolet Impala, either coupe or convertible (I don't have a problem with 4 doors but I have a preference on this car)
4) 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner
5) 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona OR 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner Superbird.
6) 1972-'73 Mercury Montego GT
7) 1967-1976 Mercury Cougar (prefer 67-73 but, the others are okay too)
8) Shelby Dodge (already have this one, but it will be a long term restoration project)
9) 1960 Dodge Dart (any trim level, any body style)
10) 1955 Pontiac convertible

Nice list but good luck finding ANY Duesenberg for under $300,000

Some of you said some I would like.
1958 Plymouth (Christine)
1959 Desoto 4 Door Hardtop (Spikes Car BTVS)
Ecto1 or 1A
1982 Pontiac Trans AM (KITT)
64/64/67 & 1985 Mustang GT/Automatic
1966 Mercury Comet In Springtime Yellow like my Dad had in the 60's.
1965 Buick LeSabre Like my Mom had because her Parents wouldn't get her a Mustang.
50's-60's Ford
50's-60's Mercury
1965 New Yorker or Imperial

I have been looking on Craigslist for a car so a few above I mentioned and why I did I saw but were too far away from me. And some well over priced for what they were.

Love love love that wagon! II have a soft spot for all old wagons.

On a side note, I saw that buick "truck" at the sloan museum car show years ago. Buicks were built in flint, so they have a huge following.

I dig all those beautiful 55 2 doors above. This aint no show car above, but its what the girlfriend loves and drives. Rosie, the 57 4 door roadmaster 75 special.

My dream cars aren't really all that expensive, so I'd have a lot of cars. I'd get a Series 2 King Midget, 67 Subaru Van, and a ragged out barndoor VW bus. Just set me loose with the rest of the money in the microcar museum and I'll come out with a bunch of great stuff.
