Woo hoo! This is probably the biggest reveal for this build. I was so excited to put these together that I had the spokes in before I took a pic. They are copper plated and then Clear Powdercoated. Electra drop center wheels, rear hub is a red stripe (now a copper stripe). Bars are new Wald granny style. More to come!

WOW!!! Those copper bits are wicked and are gonna be perfect for this build! Great idea!

Don't worry about a full bleach white on the tires, some natural 'aging' will complement those shiny rims!

My thoughts exactly! Nothing perfect going on this bike, even if it is a little shiny for a RRB. Just a good mix of cool parts- at least I think so!

This is the stem I’m using. Polished it up and slid it on the bars.

Brooks leather grips. Leave it to the brits to take something so simple and make it 30 pieces. I counted the parts on my seat before I hacked it up. 35 parts! Anyway, I think they look cool. And definitely fit my euro/deco/rat theme.

Mounted it all up. Really liking the look so far.

When I see those parts, I'm like.......

Modern chain, in copper. The KMC “copper” ones are a weird bronze color, so modern chain it is.

Wire wheeled the adjusters and made 1936 penny washers for them.

There is a very long way to go in the next 48 hours. I feel like I’m doing everything twice!

Back to the Brooks seat. After I cut out the front spring I used an old fender bracket but it just didn’t look right.

I brought the seat to my buddy Dave at Engle Bro’s Fabrication and he made quick work of the situation. Welded the two main parts together and welded a mounting bolt in place as well. I stared at it for an hour and he had it done in 10 minutes.
