For that trailer, just make an axle big enough to span the whole cooler and attach it to the bottome with conduit clamps.

Thr trailer I have is one of those pull behind that kids sit in. I tore all the tent material off and have a nice flat frame. SO far I have mounted 5/8 x 3 1/2 inch redwood board on it. The cooler looks good on it so far. Just trying to come up with another idea for a box to put in front of it so I can carry all our stuff when we decide to go to the park and play ball..or picnic things.
