Just finished building up this 2009 ladies Cruiser 1 for my daughter.
Started with this frame/fork that I got one a SMOKING deal from @bigorangecat

added:
new Sunlite stem (FB Marketplace find)
new cutdown wide ‘moon’ handlebars (from inventory)
new Thompson ball end grips (via @kingfish254)
new Electra XL saddle (from inventory)
new alloy seatpost (eBay)
vintage Schwinn 36t ‘Lucky 7’ chainring (from inventory)
‘straight armed’ crank from...? (from inventory)
new Weinmann’ 26x1.75 7x’ wheelset (rear FB Marketplace, front eBay)
tires are 26x2.00 cream Continental RetroRides, they’re basically new, just faded from storage.

Total build cost ~$100ish

and....

Seat is slammed way too low for me, but it was a nice roller down the street and back.

Put a two speed kickback wheelset on my matt bark Cruiser 1 today . The shifting took a little getting use , but I think I’m going to like it . It’s a KT2 hub .

I like them a lot . I have arthritis in both hands and can’t ride with a BMX style grip anymore . They help a lot .
