Fitted some riser bars today.
The More relaxed riding position sees it taking some weight off the suspension stem. Working a lot better now at soaking up the bumps.

I did the same thing to my Fisher CR7 resto-RaT vintage mtb build. Flat bar was too much lean for these old wrists, and it pulled the weight off the front wheel just right.

Maybe put the flat bars back on for your Final Photo in the Finished Build thread. It looks more authentic and has a higher 'cool factor'.
