Carlton: Don't let the haters get you down. There will always be someone looking to knock you down when you are on top. I don't care if you won the last 5 builds. The voters decided. I think it's an awesome build & personally, with all the BS going on in the build this year, am seriously thinking about dropping out. I have all the drama I need at home. Why on earth would you worry about others drama and quit Pick? That makes no sense to me whatsoever.
A funny thing I've noticed on the various forums i have been on is that the forums with multiple mods have way more drama and issues than the ones who have no moderation...

I don't worry about others drama, just don't want to be a part of a dog & pony show. Sorry for jumping on my soap box, this is supposed to be a fun event & I don't think the crap going on is fun. Let the folks build their bikes, keep negative comments & criticism to yourselves. My momma taught me that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything!

Yeah, but the thing is...the Mods have nothing to do with this.

People have come to us to complain about specific issues and we're the ones having to analyze everything and determine whether there's any rule breaking going on.

And don't let this one post make you think there is all kinds of drama going on behind the scenes here. We're talking about 2 or 3 people tops.

I'd say it was a relatively smooth build off so far this year considering how many participants there are.
