I did it in 3 colors of primer then flat clear.

after I sandblasted and etched it. shot it in 5 or so coats of grey. wet sanded in 400 touched up the grey. shot red oxide wet sanded in 600 shot again then couple coats of black wet sanded in 800 (making sure togo through to grey in spots) then the flat clear.
