VOTE HERE! - OFFICIAL B.O. VOTE

I thought that it would be fun to have a photo contest with the finished bike photos. Consider everything about the photo that you like, not just the cool bike in the middle!

I will award the winner with a poster size print of the winning photo with graphics including the bike and builder names, RRB build off logo and date.

VOTING ENDS ON SUNDAY EVENING.

It's all about the colors & the art work in the back not to mention the bike is pretty darn cool !

#12 Cafe Racer - HuffDaddy.
I like how the letters "BOX" (Build off 10) just happens to be on the train car in the background. Very cool.
I didn't notice that, good eye!

I was wondering if anyone noticed. How cool is that, finding an abandoned box car a short distance from my home with the name of my build on it, BO-X!

#28 Fenix.....looks like a futuristic barn-find rat rod...that just found you.

Considering i just rolled mine out and closed the garage door :-D

I didn't catch that either.
I like the bike placement of El Chango Laton so the KEEP OFF sign shows through the frame.

But for me the two best staged photos were from our two lady builders.
Miss Funk set the stage for a cool hot dog carnival
But my vote went to Jane Says for perfectly capturing her build name in a photo

There also appears to be a faint "10" in faded yellow paint on the wood behind fordsnake's FENIX (28 on the list).

Glen.

I was surprised by the one my wife and picked for this...

79. The Huffster – DC4L

Sure there are others much more dramatic, and some of them almost stole my vote, but I like the way the colours interact with the bike and the sense of perspective from the painted road lines...

Man..that's as tough as voting for the bikes. I have it narrowed down to 4, 13, 19, 23, 32, 38 ,39,42,49,56,and 60. They all capture the feel of the bike without a lot of background to take your attention away from the star of the picture. I'd like to know more abut how the picture was taken for 49. Was the background photoshopped at all?

Lots of the photos would be candidates for a late 70's Schwinn catalog. (IF Schwinn ever sold awesome bikes like these!) Schwinn always had some of the best pictures back then. They had more background stuff, (and usually multiple bikes in the shot) so as to show the bikes being used in typical everyday situations they hoped their demographic could identify with. ,

Just my opinion anyway. Great job everyone!:41::41::41::41::41:

Kind of like this shot of Schwinns in the 70's....

...couple of tennis players heading off to practice....;)

We used seamless paper in my wife's studio. it goes from the ceiling out to about 8 feet from the wall on the floor. It was like 110" wide or something, so just the edges were blended out and then the vignette added. I wanted the bike to be the star, not the background. I was inspired by The Renaissance Man.

+1! That was an outstanding pic indeed, Jane! It too, will get my vote.

Did you say you like the shots or was that to be shorts [emoji57]
